GM's new full-sized SUVs, the GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali, are based on the new GM full-sized SUV platform. These models feature the next generation small block V-8. Other popular V8s in this line are the GMC Sierra, the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, and Avalanche. The 2007 Cadillac Escalade is another luxury choice that shares its platform with the Denali and Tahoe.

K&N Engineering has developed a 77 Series High-Flow Performance Kit (77-3058KP) with a bright finish for the above mentioned 2007 and 2008 models. K&N dynamometer tests show an estimated horsepower gain of 12.4 @4917 on the 2007 GMC Yukon 5.3 liter engine.

"The factory air box has an s-shaped bend and a tight radius at the throttle body which restricts air flow," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "We gained horsepower by removing the factory intake tube and factory air box and replaced it with a larger K&N Intake with a smoother radius at the throttle body. We also put in an oversized cone shaped K&N Air Filter (RF-1042). The K&N Air Intake System is free-flowing which results in more power."

It takes less than 90 minutes to install most K&N air intakes with common tools. K&N air intakes come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
