2007 to 2011 Acura RDX Gains 8.77 Horsepower with K&N Air Intake Kit
- Sep 19, 2008
The all new Acura RDX has the lines of a typical small crossover SUV with a car-based body structure, a fully independent suspension and seating for four adults. The RDX also has a turbocharged four cylinder engine and an advanced all-wheel drive system.
K&N has developed a silver powder coated performance air intake system (69-0017TS) for the 2007 to 2011 Acura RDX with the 2.3 liter engine. K&N dynamometer testing showed the small 2.3 liter engine gained 8.77 horsepower @ 5047 RPMs.

K&N high flow air intake systems provide a measured increase in horsepower while providing excellent air filtration. The XStream top air filter (RX-4730) has a molded end velocity stack for a smooth transition of air flow from the filter to the tube. Space is tight in the engine and our K&N XStream air filter utilizes the available space to maximize air flow, surface area and dust capacity.
K&N's design isolates the K&N XStream air filter from engine heat by utilizing a heat shield. Our air intake system has lower restriction than the factory air box system which results in additional power to the engine.
The 69-0017TS has a CNC machined mass air sensor adaptor. You can attach the mass air sensor and it will work with the factory stock settings. This means there is no need for re-programming to run our K&N air intake system.
Our performance air intake systems are backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty and can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools.
