2008 & 2009 Jeep Liberty Receives 10 HP Boost with Show-Quality K&N Air Intake System

For 2008 Jeep unveiled its revamped Liberty model giving it an aggressive, yet chic, makeover. Bold lines, modern round-headlights, and that unmistakable vertical-slat grill complement the very capable Liberty package. Seeing the potential for improvement K&N Engineering seized the opportunity to build one of their Performance Air Intake Systems (77-1559KP) for the 3.7L V6 models.

With the addition of K&N Engineering's new Performance Air Intake System (77-1559KP), Liberty owners can realize a gain of more than 10 horsepower. K&N's Research and Development Department tested a 2008 Jeep Liberty 3.7L V6 on our in-house dynamometer. Results showed an impressive10.01 horsepower gain @ 4800 RPM. K&N's 77-1559KP Air Intake System gives Liberty owners the power they're craving while also increasing under-hood appeal.

K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten airflow. This allows your engine to pull in air with ease compared to the OEM air filter assembly. This air intake system uses a conical shaped chrome top high-flow air filter (RF-1048) and powder coated aluminum heat shield in place of the vehicle's stock air box.
