2011 to 2016 Ford Explorer V6 Gain Big Horsepower with K&N Air Intake System

The 77-2575KS performance air intake system is designed to be the perfect upgrade for 2011 to 2016 Ford Explorer models with 3.5 liter V6 engine. This air intake comes complete with a custom designed aluminum intake tube with all necessary sensor adaptors and vent hookups to make installation a breeze. The 77-2575KS also utilizes an oversized K&N high-flow washable and reusable air filter, part number RF-1048. The RF-1048 conical air filter is constructed using multiple layers of oiled cotton gauze that will perform for up to 100,000 miles before service is required, depending on driving conditions. The application of this technology and design allows air to flow more freely to the motor while protecting it from harmful debris and contaminants. To protect the incoming air from engine heat, the 77-2575KS also includes a heat shield which fits directly onto the stock air box mounting points. When dyno tested, the 77-2575KS air intake improved performance in a 2011 Ford Explorer with a 3.5 liter engine by an estimated 13.5 horsepower at 5500rpm and boosted torque by 10 lb-ft at 3900rpm. The entire intake system is also backed with K&N's famous Million Mile Limited Warranty. It is easy to install with common tools in less than 90 minutes.
