- Apr 28, 2009
The 2008 Dodge Avenger looks similar to a three-quarter scale Charger. It is a twin mechanically to the Chrysler Sebring and shares its powertrain.
K&N has developed a performance air intake kit (69-2543TTK) in black for the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Dodge Avenger with a 3.5 liter V6 engine. K&N dynamometer tests show a 12.31 horsepower increase at 5493 RPM.

The K&N air intake design replaces the restrictive OEM intake for more power on the naturally aspirated engine. This K&N air intake kit replaces the original stock air box for a power gain you can immediately feel.
The 69-2543TTK features a K&N cone shaped air filter (RU-4730) which is placed in the front left corner of the engine. It is protected from hot engine heat by a powder coated heat shield. The RU-4730 is positioned so it gets fed cooler outside air which aids in the power gain.
The 69-2543TTK uses a CNC machined mass air sensor adaptor that is placed so the air intake system performs within factory computer settings.
This K&N air intake system can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools. It is backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
