Dyno chart for 2007 to 2011 Jeep Wrangler with a 3.8 liter engine
K&N dynamometer test show a horsepower gain of 8.17 @ 4807 RPM. K&N cold air intake systems are designed to reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten airflow while providing outstanding filtration. This results in engine protection with more power and torque when you need it.
The new K&N air intake system draws air through a K&N chrome top lifetime replacement air filter (RF-1048) for an immediate power gain. The air filter is washable and reusable and can perform for up to 100,000 miles before service is required. The rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene tube improves the air path between the K&N air filter and the motor.
A powder coated steel heat shield replaces the stock airbox and protects the K&N air filter from engine heat. This keeps the engine cooler for an immediate power gain. For an immediate performance increase simply remove the stock intake tube along with the factory air box and replace it with the K&N custom engineered air intake system. The 57-1553 can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
