The EcoTec3 lineup consists of the three different power plants: a 5.3L V8 L83 and a 6.2L V8 L86, plus a V6 engine, all mated to six-speed transmissions when sold in the US and Canada. The 5.3L V-8 is rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, while the 6.2L V8 is rated at 420 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.
