The Lucas Oil Challenge Cup race pits the Pro-2 two wheel drive trucks & drivers against the Pro-4 four wheel drive trucks and drivers with the Pro-2 drivers getting a half lap head start
The Lucas Oil Challenge Cup race is billed as the most exciting Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event of the year. The annual year end race pits the Pro-2 two wheel drive trucks & drivers against the Pro-4 four wheel drive trucks and drivers. The Pro-2 drivers are given a half lap head start as their trucks are at a slight disadvantage. Every year the Pro-4 and Pro-2 carnage is intense and 2015 didn’t disappoint.

K&N air filters sponsored Pro-4 LOORRS driver Carl Renezeder was at his best, driving in the style that has made him a legend over the past 17 years. Renezeder gracefully maneuvered his K&N filters equipped Pro-4 truck past the Pro-2 trucks treating the fans to classic Renezeder driving. Carl crossed the line in first place earning him his 118th race win and his third LOORRS Challenge Cup win.

The 2015 LOORRS race season had its highs and lows for Team Renezeder, with the team making lots of changes to the trucks to fine-tune them all year long. "We used everything we learned and continued to work hard to give the trucks that winning edge" commented Renezeder. "I'm proud of our team," said Renezeder. My team, my family, my sponsors and all of my fans are what make this worthwhile; I could not do this without them."
Team Renezeder is looking to get the 2016 racing season off to an early start with the Red Bull Frozen Rush truck race in January 2016, followed by the 2016 LOORRS season in March 2016
While Renezeder may humbly claim that the year had its ups and downs. Carl and the team wrapped up the 2015 race season with 14 podiums, including the much coveted Challenge Cup win for an unprecedented third time.
Team Renezeder is looking to get the 2016 racing season off to an early start with the Red Bull Frozen Rush truck race in January 2016. After that the team is looking forward to starting the 2016 Lucas Oil off Road Racing Series in March 2016.
