Power and Performance for the 2005 to 2016 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8
- May 20, 2008
The Chrysler 300C is an amazing full-size family sedan. This luxury sedan comes with a 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 engine, offering 340 horsepower. The 300C SRT-8 model comes with a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 engine delivering 425 horsepower. The 300C’s Hemi engine uses a multi-displacement system (MDS) that deactivates four of the V8’s cylinders when the throttle is closed to dramatically improve fuel economy. This fuel efficient, full size luxury sedan has a lot of get-up-and-go. It’s no wonder that the Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 are leaving the competition in the dust.
For over 35 years, K&N has been designing and enhancing performance air filters for the automotive enthusiast interested in maximizing horsepower and acceleration. The unique characteristics of our filter medium have played a large part in making K&N Engineering the leader of filtration technology.
K&N’s replacement air filters, performance air intakes and premium oil filters are available to help increase performance in the Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8. K&N’s performance air filter 33-2460 was designed to fit 2011-2016 Chrysler 300 3.6L and Chrysler 300C 5.7L models. This high-flow air filter will also benefit owners of 2012-2016 Chrysler 300 6.4L and Chrysler 300S 5.7L models, as well as 2014 or 2015 Chrysler 300C vehicles with a 3.6L engine. K&N’s replacement air filter 33-2295 was released for the 2004 to 2010 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8. For owners of a 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300C 3.0L with a Diesel engine, the 33-2304 is the right air filter. This high-flow filter was designed to increase horsepower and torque while providing excellent filtration. The 33-2295 will fit directly into the factory air box of the 300C. This simple drop-in design makes it an easy performance upgrade. K&N Air Filters are washable, reusable, and backed by K&N’s famous Million Mile® Limited Warranty. The 33-2295 will be the last air filter your Chrysler 300C or 300C SRT-8 will ever need.
Performance cold air intakes from K&N are guaranteed to increase horsepower. By replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Performance Air Intake, your 300C’s engine can take in air with less effort. This translates into guaranteed horsepower. Owners of a 2011-2016 Chrysler 300C model equipped with a 5.7L engine can improve their vehicle’s performance by installing K&N’s 63-1114 performance air intake system. Dyno tests using this intake saw engines gain an estimated 11.7 horsepower at 4513 RPM. This air intake is also compatible with the 5.7-liter engine in 2015 Chrysler 300S models. The 63-1564 performance air intake system is designed to fit 2011-2016 Chrysler 300 3.6L and 2014-2015 Chrysler 300C 3.6L V6 engines. Dyno tests using the 63-1564 Aircharger kit produced estimated gains of 8.09 HP @ 5231 RPM. Owners of a 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Chrysler 300 models with a 6.4-liter engine may choose between two intake systems. The 63-1565 intake kit improves airflow to the engine using K&N’s RF-1042 high-flow air filter. The 71-2545 Blackhawk Induction system features black hardware and black filter media to bring a stylish appearance to your engine. K&N’s 57-1542 air intake system is engineered to improve performance for owners of a Chrysler 300C 5.7L model made between 2005 and 2014, or a Chrysler 300C 6.1L model made between 2005 and 2010. The 57-1542 uses a non-metallic rotationally molded tube that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. This air intake reduces intake restriction allowing your 300C Hemi engine to inhale a larger volume of air over the OEM air filter assembly. K&N 57-1544 Performance Air Intake is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. The 57-1544 is custom designed and is compatible with the 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300 2.7L. The 57-1543 has also been designed for 2005 to 2010 Chrysler 300s; however, it is specifically catered for the 3.5 liter engine and produces an estimated 11.68 HP @ 6215 RPM. K&N’s 69-2526TP was designed for 2005-2010 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 models with 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter engines. This air intake is also compatible with 2011-2016 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 models with a 5.7-liter engine, and the 2015 Chrysler 300S 5.7-liter engine. Testing has shown the 69-2526TP to gain an estimated 11.6 more horsepower @ 4854 RPM. Using a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum induction tube, the 69-2526TP straightens and smooths air-flow to your engine.
K&N Performance Gold® (HP) Oil Filters for the Chrysler 300C have a 1 inch nut welded to the top of the canister for easy removal. K&N’s Pro Series (PS) Oil filters offer excellent filtration and engine protection, but do not come with the 1" nut. These premium oil filters are made with ultra-thick canister walls for durability and protection from loose rocks and debris. 2005, 2006 and 2007 Chrysler 300C and 300C SRT-8 with 2.7, 3.5, 5.7 and 6.1 liter engines use K&N’s HP-2004 or PS-2004 premium oil filters. The HP-2004 and PS-2004, like all K&N canister oil filters, provide exceptional filtration while allowing for high oil flow rates.
K&N’s HP-2010 and PS-2010 oil filters were designed to fit 2008-2016 Chrysler 300C models with a 5.7L engine, 2012-2016 Chrysler 300S models with a 5.7L engine, and 2012-2015 Chrysler 300 models with a 6.4L engine. K&N Oil Filters are also ideal for use with today’s synthetic and semi-synthetic motor oils. These oil filters will also benefit owners of a 2008-2010 Chrysler 300C with a 6.1L engine, as well as Chrysler 300 and 300C models made in 2008 with a 2.7-liter or 3.5-liter engine.
