For the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Street brought two converted beauties to show off the designs and styling of Projxauto. "The two cars featured at the SEMA show were owned by Walters Ekland Chevrolet from Pennsylvania. We have built many Z/TA conversions for them." "We have been visiting and displaying different product at SEMA for approximately 12 years," said Street. "We can do a Z/TA conversion on a Camaro in about 1 weeks’ time." Specializing in automotive design and parts development focusing on plastics and body trim, this full body build is one of the largest builds available from Projxauto.

"The real inspiration for these modern day Trans Am's, mainly came from the fact that GM dropped the ball, and we feel there is still a strong desire to drive a modern day TA," said Street. "The obvious main modification, is the Z/TA Trans Am body package including a functional shaker scoop that feeds additional cold air into a K&N cold air intake system, followed by aftermarket wheels and a drop spring kit." When asked what the public thought about the conversion packages, Street mentioned that the vehicles are truly unique.

"I would say that definitely the Z/TA package gets all the attention, after all this kit will transform an ordinary Camaro into a modern day Firebird that really doesn't exist. This kit will truly make your car stand out from the rest!" When asked why K&N was used in their modified Z/TA packages Street answered, "… we chose to [go] with K&N because we felt that they were the better engineered system on the aftermarket." " We actually decided t go with K&N during our product design and engineering stages. After evaluating a few other systems, we chose K&N, and then designed our functional shaker scoop system around the K&N system," said Street.
