Retail Market Visits K&N Booth at 2006 LA Auto Show
- Dec 15, 2006
Consumers are interested in going green and automakers are in the process of
shifting gears to accommodate the public. Nearly every major car maker at the
2006 Los Angeles Auto Show showed off new models that will reportedly mark the
beginning of the end of the era for gas guzzling vehicles. A lot of attention is
also being paid to environmental and landfill issues.
The LA Auto Show showcased concept cars which were eco-friendly. Many focused on recyclable materials and entered the “environmental sustainability” design challenge. K&N Engineering’s booth for the Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center was designed like a science fair. The K&N Air Velocity Machine, Oil Migration Stand and Mass Air Sensor Demo were on display. At the K&N booth, employees answered questions and helped the retail market understand and find K&N products.
More than 100 million disposable paper air filters end up in US landfills every year.
K&N Lifetime Replacement Air Filters never need to be replaced. K&N Lifetime Filters help cars breathe easier with High Flow Technology, giving vehicles better performance while reducing waste.
K&N is the world leader in filter technology with more than 35 years of air filtration experience. K&N is the innovator of the unique cotton air filtration system that has created the World’s Best Air Filter. Cotton is a renewable resource.
Concept cars are just that, concepts, and many will not be made available to the general public for years. Fortunately, K&N Filters are available along with the technology to reduce waste.
