Marshall Stewart is in only in the 4th grade, but his motorcross accomplishments
are already a huge part of the K&N's racing family.

The 10-year-old from Lake Elisnore, California captured first place in the
65cc class and 4th in the vintage class at the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix. “He was the
youngest person entered in the vintage class,” said Marshall’s father Chris
Roberts. “Everyone else in the race was an adult.”

The vintage bikes are difficult because there is no suspension. “You can feel
every bump,” said Marshall. “It was fun but I have one more thing to say about
vintage bikes, ouch. My favorite part of 65 class race was winning, the
interviews and the television crews.”
Marshall uses K&N air filter (KA-8088) on his 2006 Kawasaki KX65 and (HA-0300)
on his 1976 Honda XR75. Marshall’s father works for K&N Engineering as a
National Accounts Manager. “We were so glad to have K&N filters on both bikes
this weekend,” he said. “The dust and soot was incredibly thick and both of our
motors were protected. K&N helped give Marshall the extra power he needs to pull
head of the pack and keep our motors strong.”
Roberts also uses K&N products on his tow vehicle. “We travel back and forth
between races all the time,” he said. “I haul a trailer, bikes and parts and my
Nissan Titan needs extra power. With K&N’s
63-6012 on my Titan I gain an
additional 11 horsepower. It makes getting to the track that much easier.”
Marshall has won back-to-back championship wins in the Lake Elsinore Motorcross
Park Summercross Series. “I also raced the 30-plus Vet class,” said Roberts. “I
crashed hard and finished 10th. Racing keeps our family together and allows us
to do activities with friends. It is also about having fun.”
