World of Outlaws Racer Competes with the Best then Battles Santa Ana Winds

The “Greatest Show on Dirt” was held at Perris Auto Speedway. This was the first
time the World of Outlaws competed at the Southern California track since 2004.
Jonathan Allard and the Williams Motorsports Team competed against 32 entrants
and made the most of it by charging from 24th to 15th during the main event.

Allard is known as one of the top qualifiers in the World of Outlaws on the west coast in the K&N Filters, Red Line Oil No. 0 sprint car. He was able to charge forward at the most modern dirt sprint car facility and brought the K&N Filters No. 0 home in 15th place.

“Anytime you can pass cars against the Outlaws it’s a good thing,” said
Allard. “There are only a few races left this season and I'm going to try and
win as many as I can.”
Allard and the Williams Motorsports Team left California and battled the raging Santa Ana winds in their race trailer on their way to Kings Speedway for the Cotton Classic. We were able to get out of the area before the devastating firestorms hit the southland.
Allard won the Cotton Classic in 2005. He’ll look for a repeat of that this Saturday as he chases his 11th win of the season at the Kings County Fairgrounds in Hanford, California.
