The 2005 Mazda B4000 and the 2005 Ford Ranger share a production line. Both have
a rugged chassis and a double-wishbone front designed for work. The B-Series is
available with a 4.0 liter V6 which was introduced at the same time the Ford
Ranger also received a new V6.
Air Intake Kit for Ford Ranger and Mazda B4000
K&N Engineering has designed a 57-Series Fuel Injection
Performance Kit (57-2561)
for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. 2008 and 2009 Mazda B4000 4.0 liter V6 and the 2004 to 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0
liter V6.
By replacing your factory air intake assembly with K&N's 57-Series FIPK (57-2561),
your engine will get more air with less restriction. More air means more usable
power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. Dynamometer tests at
K&N Engineering's lab show a 13.45 horsepower gain at 5129 RPM.
"We tested a lot of vehicles to maximize performance on this FIPK," said K&N Performance Kit
Manger Bert Heck. "We had to concentrate on placing the mass air sensor in the
perfect location for these two
vehicles."
The rotationally molded polyethylene intake (57-2561)
uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RU-4990)
which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on
driving conditions). FIPK's also come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited
Warranty.
Installation is
purely bolt-on and uses factory holes: No drilling is required and the average
time to replace the stock airbox and intake track with an FIPK is about 90
minutes. The FIPK air intake kit comes compete with all mounting hardware, silicon hose adapters
and stainless-steel clamps.
Style and performance have defined the Pontiac Grand Prix since 1962. The first
two generations of Grand Prix were considered large, even by early 1960
standards. The car went to mid-size by 1969 and the 2004, 2005 design shows off
a new interior for the ninth generation.

K&N Engineering has developed a new 57-series Generation
II Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3049)
that will add a bigger punch to the 2004, 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L V6. K&N
tests have shown a 16.78 horsepower gain at 5248 RPM with this rotationally
molded polyethylene intake.
By replacing the Grand Prix factory air intake assembly with K&N's 57-Series
Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3049)
the engine gets cool, dense air with less restriction. The FIPK uses K&N's
high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1048)
which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on
driving conditions).
"The hole on this heat shield is for the processors wiring harness," said K&N
Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "The computer is small but it has a lot of
wires. They are color coded and very easy to put back into place."
K&N's FIPK (57-3049)
can be installed in
90 minutes or less with simple hand tools and lasts up to 100,000 miles before
service is required (depending on driving conditions). It also comes with the
famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
The 2005 Dodge Dakota is competing in a market where large pickups maintain the
status quo and compact versions continue to grow.

The midsize Dakota pickup comes in a choice of three
engines and has gained nearly 4 inches in length and almost 3 inches in width.
The new design provides a balance between safety and maneuverability. Dakota
extends its bumpers in the front and rear for protection in case of low-speed
impacts.
K&N Engineering has developed a 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-1546)
that will add 9 + horsepower with this rotationally molded polyethylene air intake.
K&N's dynamometer chart shows a 9.17 horsepower gain at 4524 RPM for the 2005 to 2010
Dodge Dakota 4.7L V8.
"There is a big opening where the factory air box was," said K&N Performance Kit
Manger Bert Heck. "We can run the biggest filter possible on this Intake."
The FIPK (57-1546)
uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1048)
which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on
driving conditions). FIPK air intakes also come with the famous Million Mile Limited
Warranty.
The Dodge Durango 5.7 L V8 is a mid-sized SUV that can tow up to 8950 pounds
with the optional 3.92 rear axle. The engine sits farther back in a more rigid
chassis, resulting in better balance.
Air Intake for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Dodge Durango
By replacing the Durango factory air intake assembly with
K&N Engineering's 57-Series FIPK (57-1539),
your engine will get more air with less restriction. More air means more usable
power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range.
Dynamometer tests at K&N Engineering's lab indicate that owners should see a 17.5 horsepower gain at 5053 RPMs
for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Dodge Durango 5.7 liter V8. Function and looks were part of
K&N's development process for the 57-Series FIPK (57-1539)
rotationally molded polyethylene intake.
"We were able to get excellent horsepower with this intake," said K&N
Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "It's easy to reach and installation is very
straight forward."
The FIPK (57-1539)
uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1041)
which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on
driving conditions). FIPK air intakes also come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited
Warranty.
Motorcycle sporting enthusiasts all over the world can realize maximum performance,
sophistication and technology enhanced safety measures in a new package from
BMW. After 5 years of development the BMW K1200S is available. The aluminum
frame sporting model with an inline four-cylinder engine accelerates
aggressively.
For those who want great synthesis with everything BMW has learned from decades
of motorsport experience, K&N Engineering, with decades of filter experience has
designed a replacement Air Filter for the sport model.
Air Filter for BMW K1200 S, K1200 R and K1200 GT
K&N's Air Filter (BM-1205)
is custom designed to fit in the factory air box of the 2005 to 2008 BMW K1200 S, the 2005 to 2012 BMW K1200 R, the 2006 to 2011 BMW K1200 GT and the 2009 and 2015 BMW K1300GT, BMW K1300R and 2009 to 2016 BMW K1300S. The drop-in design means adding
performance is simple, just remove the disposable air filter in the bike and replace it with K&N's Air Filter (BM-1205).
The washable, reusable, high flow flat panel filter is designed to increase
horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. "We made this
coned shaped K&N Air Filter for the BMW K1200," said K&N Powersports Application
Coordinator Lisa Watson. "The BMW K 1200 S model uses 2 K&N Air Filters and the
BMW K 1200 R model uses 1 K&N Air Filter because of the way the bike is
designed. Either way, with the K&N Air Filter the cone shaped filter is designed
for maximum air flow."
Unlike disposable filters, K&N Motorcycle Air Filters use a unique pleated design comprised
of an oiled cotton fabric sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum
screen. The filters capture airborne dirt particles while allowing high volume
air flow. These particles than cling to the outside of the filter and become
part of the filtering media.
"When it rains water goes into the stock airbox on this bike," said Lou Gutowski,
K&N's Western Region Power Sports Manager. "If the K&N Filter (BM-1205)
gets wet on a bike ride it does not have to be replaced after the rain."
K&N Air Filters for street motorcycles and automobiles are covered by our famous K&N
Million Mile Limited Warranty and will be the last air filter your vehicle will
ever need.
K&N's Air Filter BM-1205 will fit the following vehicles:
