K&N's Washable and Reusable Air Filters
K&N washable air filters are handmade in the United States and United Kingdom using only the finest materials available. They can be easily cleaned and
re-oiled using our K&N cleaning kits as necessary. In our testing laboratory, we have washed and re-oiled one K&N Air Filter more than 100 times and it still performed up to specification.
All K&N original equipment (OE) replacement air filters for street use are warranted against defective materials or workmanship for one million miles. This warranty applies to any K&N washable air filter listed in our catalog or on our web site as an OE replacement air filter with a cross reference to a specific vehicle or motorcycle; except for those washable air filters sold for use on ATV's and motorcycles designed for dual purpose and/or off-road use.
K&N's Universal Washable and Reusable Air Filters
Any washable, reusable air filters that are sold for racing & off-road use are warranted against defective materials or workmanship for one year from date of purchase with no mileage limitation. This includes K&N air filters sold for ATV and motorcycle off-highway and/or dual-purpose use.
K&N washable and reusable air filters are so easy to clean. Simply use K&N's air filter cleaner to loosen the dirt,
rinse with a low pressure water source such as a garden hose, let it dry and re-oil the filter. Please refer to the K&N Air Filter Cleaning Instructions on KNFilters.com for a full illustration on how easy it really is to reuse K&N's washable filters.

K&N air intake systems are measured and 100% guaranteed to increase horsepower.
We built our first air intake in 1992 and we haven't looked back since.
K&N currently manufactures over 500 different air intakes, commonly referred to
as cool or cold air intakes, and our team of engineers is dedicated to designing,
and building the best air intakes available.
K&N Cold Air Intake System
Restriction in airflow can exist between an air filter and the engine reducing
the benefit of our high flow air filter. The weakest link in the "airflow chain"
robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Often that weak point is the factory
air path leading to the engine. K&N cold air intake systems virtually eliminate air path restriction by replacing the entire air path to the engine with an aerodynamically engineered intake tube that drives a massive amount of air into an engine.
Our cold air intakes are built to increase horsepower. If we can't increase a vehicle's horsepower we won't build a system for it. It is that simple. Our horsepower results are not based on the single biggest gain from one particular vehicle but are an average of runs and vehicles.
Examples of horsepower gains for several popular vehicles are below.
2004 to 2008 Ford F-150 Cold Air Intake System
2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Ford F-150 trucks with the 5.4 liter engine use K&N's 57-2556
air intake for a gain of 15.47 horsepower @ 3829 rpm.
Owners of 2004 to 2008 Ford F150 pickups with a 5.4 liter engine may also choose K&N's polished aluminum cold air intake kit 77-2556KP. The 77-2556KP gets 9.53 more horsepower @ 3725 rpm.
2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Honda Accord models with a 3.0 liter V6 engine
use K&N's complete cold air intake part number 69-1207TP or 69-1207TR. These cool air intakes show a gain of 10.4 horsepower @ 5522 rpm.
2003 to 2007 Honda Accord Cold Air Intake System
2007 and 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 Cold Air Intake System
2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickups with a 6.0 liter engine gain 17.54 horsepower @ 4917 rpm with the 57-3058 cool air intake. The 57-3058 is designed with a non-metallic rotationally molded intake tube that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube.
K&N's 77-3058KP
will fit 2007 and 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 models with the 6.0 liter engine. This polished aluminum intake system uses an aluminum intake tube to smooth and straighten air flow to your engine. The 77-3058KP gains 12.49 horsepower @ 4917 rpm.
K&N Cold Air Intake Dyno for a 2004 Chevy 2500
All K&N cold air intakes begin with "The World's Best Air Filter". We apply our high-flow
technology to a large conical open element air filter, providing more surface area for a huge increase in airflow. The oversize air filter captures and holds more dirt to protect your engine from damage.
To find a K&N cold air intake system for your vehicle or to view specific horsepower gains for your vehicle use the

Over the last year K&N has added new functionality to it's KNFilters.com web
site providing more information and new ways to search for products. One
recent addition
is the
VIN (Vehicle
Identification Number) search feature, which assists those that do not know
their engine size. A user can enter the VIN from their car's dashboard to
view all K&N vehicle specific products available. No other information
is necessary.
Another recent addition is a testimonial search where customers can search for
feedback of others
with the same vehicle.
There are also hundreds of
new product,
race and
corporate news stories added on a consistent basis
that provide consumers and dealers with more information on products and other
K&N related news of interest.
K&N also won the Web Catalog Excellence award in 2006 and 2007. The company looks forward to the
challenge of keeping its web catalog on the cutting edge while continuing its
efforts to provide dealers and consumers with the latest information about K&N

Nick Folk is the Stock points leader nationwide and is tightening his grip on the 2008 World Championship. Brian Folk was also knocking off the competition in his Shafiroff Racing Engines powered Undercover Top Dragster.
“It’s been a great couple of weeks,” said Brian Folk. “Nick and I both won and I was runner-up in a $50,000-to-win bracket race. Things just seem to fall into place when it’s rolling your way. It’s rewarding and humbling at the same time, because you know in this sport the tables can turn in an instant.”
Nick Folk is adding up his odds of capturing the 2008 Stock Eliminator World Championship. Mathematically Folk has eliminated every racer currently in the top ten with the exception of former IHRA Summit Super Series champion Rick Baehr. “On paper a win looks pretty good, but I’m not going to jump to conclusions,” said Folk. “I’ll celebrate when it’s over if we come out on top.”
The Folk family uses K&N Products on all their vehicles. “Our K&N oil filters are the best on the market,” said Folk. “The dirt stays out of our engines and the filtration is great for a big competitive edge."
