The 57-1550 features a specially molded intake tube and a large K&N air filter. The air filter, RP-4660, fits into the stock location. Cooler outside air is directed toward the K&N air filter from the factory fresh air duct.
K&N developed a new heat shield for this particular engine and designed the tube to accommodate front wheel drive and the transmission. The electronic components under the hood were repositioned with the new design of the PT cruiser. The heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine heat. This in turn keeps a cooler air charge going into the engine for an instant power gain.
The high flow technology invented by K&N and made in the USA provides the best balance of airflow and filtration. The RP-4660 is also washable and reusable and can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is necessary.
The 57-1550 can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

The 57-1554 features a specially molded intake tube and a large open element chrome top K&N air filter. The air filter,
RF-1041, rests behind a powder coated steel heat shield. This helps isolate it from the rest of the engine compartment. Cooler outside air is directed toward the K&N air filter from the factory fresh air duct. A steady supply of unrestricted airflow reaches the Nitro’s engine for an instant performance gain. No other modifications are necessary.

K&N Engineering has released a new air intake system, part number 57-1549 for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 liter V8 engine and the 2006 and 2007 Jeep Commander 5.7 liter V8 engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show an estimated 15.30 horsepower gain @ 5046 RPM. The chrome top K&N air filter
(RF-1048) sits behind a powder coated steel heat shield which helps isolate it from the rest of the engine compartment. This combination allows for a steady supply of unrestricted airflow to reach the Jeep's engine providing an instant performance gain with no other modifications necessary.

K&N's air intake design provides excellent air filtration and lower restriction
than the factory air box system. The heat shield assembly is installed into the engine bay using factory mounting points. The heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the hotter temperatures around the engine and allows it to receive a consistent flow of fresh cooler air.
The chrome top of the large RF-1048 air filter stops dust and dirt by using multiple layers of cotton and 1.45 oz, of K&N filter oil. This high flow technology invented by K&N provides the best balance of airflow and filtration. Washable and reusable K&N air intake filters can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required.
The 57-1549 can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the
K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty. This intake is street legal in 50 states for the applications mentioned in this story.

The Ford F-150 series has a style borrowed from the Mighty F-350 Tonka concept truck. The F-150 grilles are trapezoidal. Both regular and Super Cab pickups can have a 6.5 or 8 foot cargo bed. Short beds are also available on this popular truck that closes in on the million unit mark annually.
K&N Engineering has designed a high-flow air intake system (57-2574) for 2007 & 2008 Ford F150 4.6 liter V8 engine.

K&N dynamometer testing shows a 9.8 horsepower gain @ 4200 RPM. K&N
designers removed the OE air box and intake and built a larger intake system to
open up the breathing capacity for the 4.6 liter engine to get more air and power.

The K&N air intake design provides excellent air filtration and lower restriction
than the factory air box system. This results in an immediate power gain.
A large chrome top K&N high flow air filter (RF-1041) allows virtually free flowing air
into the intake tube and increased dirt capacity. K&N also incorporated a
radius adapter to help smooth out air flow coming through the air filter. K&N air intake systems are designed to increase filtering capacity and improve throttle response.
The heat shield is engineered to isolate the oversized K&N high flow air filter from engine bay heat and allows it to receive a consistent flow of fresh cooler air.
The 57-2574 can be easily

Harrison Brothers Racing is ready for the next round of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Cup at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Richie and Jonathan Harrison are happy to end an enforced two round sabbatical after two
separate motorcycle crashes at two earlier races.
Richie Harrison on 2007 Yamaha Superstock Spec motorcycle
As HBR enters the second half of the season the riders hope to improve their standings. “We have added a brand new full race exhaust system to my machine,” said Richie Harrison. “My bike has a whole new torque feel at the back wheel than we had before.”
Jonathan Harrison ready for second half of British Supersport Cup
Both riders have struggled throughout the first half of the season with their 121 bhp Superstock spec machines. Many of their competitors have motorcycles with more bhp and HBR has to work harder
with their engines to get to the grid. The good news is, Richie and Jonathan
both have improved their personal best lap times at every race this season.
“The HBR 2007 Yamaha with K&N Engineering products feels great,” said Richie. “I’m starting to gel with the bike and am gaining back my confidence.”
K&N Engineering has supplied Harrison Brothers with parts since 2005. “We know with K&N our bikes are working at their best,” said Richie Harrison. “We never have a problem with any K&N products or services. Due to the excellent products provided by our sponsors we go to the race track knowing we can race the bikes to the best of our ability.”
