The British Superbike Red Viper racing team has selected K&N as
its air filter supplier for the 2008 BSB (British Superbike Series). This was
not a random decision, the team tested a number of competitors, but K&N air
filters consistently tested better.
Red Viper Honda Fireblade in action
"The overall difference between K&N air filters and the other brands that we
tested was K&N gave better protection to our engines,” said Adrian Butterworth,
Red Viper Team Manager. “The dust and debris blowing around the British
Superbike circuits can be quite bad at times.” The team races Honda Fireblades,
which are renowned for their reliability and performance on the track. It was a
good match.

Protection from racetrack elements wasn’t the only reason Red Viper chose
K&N technology. “The breathability that a K&N filter provides is what impressed
us the most,” Butterworth said. “We did a number of dyno runs on our Fireblades
with a K&N air filter and saw great results. We use them for their horsepower
advantage.”
Champion racers Aaron Zanotti and Tom Clegg make up the Red Viper racing team
competing in the BSB championship this year.

K&N Engineering manufactures high quality performance products for the 1999 to 2008 Toyota Yaris. K&N high-flow replacement air filters, performance air intakes and premium oil filters are designed to help you get the most out of your Yaris.
K&N's lifetime replacement air filter, part 33-2360, is custom designed to fit in the 2007 and 2008 Toyota Yaris with either the 1.5 or 1.8 liter engine. Washable and reusable, K&N’s flat panel filter is easy to install.
The 33-2211 was designed for the 2000 to 2005 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine and the 1999 and 2000 Toyota Yaris with the 1.3 liter engine. To add performance to your Toyota Yaris, simply remove the stock disposable air filter and drop in the high-flow K&N air filter.
2001 to 2008 Toyota Yaris models with the 1.5 liter engine and 1999, 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Toyota Yaris models with the 1.0 liter engine use K&N’s 33-2131 replacement air filter.
For guaranteed horsepower, K&N offers a line of performance air intakes for the Toyota Yaris. For the 2006 and 2007 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine, K&N has the 69-8612TFK cold air intake system. The 69-8612TFK is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system with a flat black powder coated finish. It, like all K&N air intakes, is designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction allowing more air flow to your engine.
Owners of the 2001 to 2005 Toyota Yaris with the 1.5 liter engine use the 69-8756TP or 69-8756TB for a guaranteed horsepower gain. The 69-8756TP come with a polished aluminum intake tube and the 69-8756TB comes with a blue powder coated intake tube. K&N cold-air intake systems are a great and easy way to add performance to your Yaris. Our systems can usually be installed in 90 minutes or less.
2007 and 2008 Toyota Yaris models with the 1.5 liter engine benefit from K&N’s premium oil filter HP-1003. The HP-1003 was designed to achieve excellent filtration while allowing for high oil flow rates. K&N Performance Gold Oil Filters are engineered with ultra thick canister walls that help protect it from loose rocks and debris. This K&N oil filter has a 1” nut welded to the top of the canister for easy removal.

Team Waggoner Racing was on the scene at the first We Rock USA rock crawl of the
2008 season. The K&N Engineering sponsored team secured a 2nd place title.
Team Waggoner Racing takes 2nd place at first rock crawl of the 2008 season
Despite some really tough courses along the hillside at the racetrack, the
Waggoner’s plowed through. There were a lot of nasty rolls and carnage for a lot
of competitors. The crowd dispersed several times as cars flipped over one after
another.
Dirt flew everywhere at the Perris, California We Rock Event
Team Waggoner had great runs over the boulders at We Rock USA
“The silt-like dirt on the rocks makes climbing really difficult,” said Cody Waggoner. “Without
good traction you are sunk.” Team Waggoner powered through two tough courses
before it was time for the insane drop-off course. “It was crazy to see Cody
sitting on top of this boulder knowing he was going to drive off this huge
drop,” said Lindsay Waggoner. “It was such a relief to see him land on all four
tires and get a lot of points.”
By the end of Saturday, Team Waggoner was in third place overall. Sunday was
even hotter and there was less wind as Cody and Jim Waggoner prepared for even
tougher courses. “The dust kicked up with the slightest spin of a tire,” said
Cody Waggoner. “When you are climbing these kinds of boulders you need to count
on your engine running as clean as possible, especially when you need the extra
boost to make it to the top. Our engine ran great and we owe it to the winning
combination of our custom built CBM motor equipped with a K&N air filter.”
Cody and Jim Waggoner moved into 2nd place after a couple of great runs. The
last course of the shootout sealed their fate. With only twenty seconds left on
the clock Cody mistakenly exited the course through the wrong set of gates. All
that mattered to them was to finish the shootout with minimal errors to keep the 2nd
place status.
They didn’t roll over and completed the course to secure 2nd place, which was a
great start for Team Waggoner to the 2008 We Rock USA series.
