2006 to 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 Motorcycle Riders Get Performance with New K&N Air Filter

Triumph's 2006 to 2012 Daytona 675 motorcycle is one of the sportiest machines to ever roll out of the Hinckley factory. The seat angles down and pushes its rider toward the tank, making the riding position pure sport. It is one of the hottest classes in motorcycles designed for the rider who is looking for something other than a totally dedicated track tool.

K&N Engineering has released a new washable and reusable lifetime air filter (TB-6706) for the 2006 to 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycle. K&N motorcycle air filters are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent air filtration.

The TB-6706 is engineered to fit into the Daytona's factory air box using stock mounting points. Simply remove the stock filter and replace it with the K&N air filter by attaching it using the air box screws. There is never any cutting or fitting required.

Use of the stock OEM "O" Ring provides a factory seal to ensure no dust gets past the K&N air filter. Since it is a replacement air filter, fuel-management changes are not necessary to receive optimum performance.

K&N invented the concept of washable, reusable air filters more than 35 years ago. K&N On-Road Air Filters feature the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

The TB-6706 fits the following vehicle applications:

The factory Mass Air Sensor attaches to the rotationally molded intake tube on the  57-2575. The unique heat shield has "tabs" for attaching it to the factory lower air box via the factory latches. This allows the K&N chrome top air filter (RC-5173) to receive a consistent flow of fresh cool air. In addition, the heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment.

The 57-2575 is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. K&N high flow intake systems come with the famous Million Mile Limited Warranty.

The 57-2575 fits the following vehicle applications:

Team Toyo Street Wins 29 Awards at Numerours Tuner Car Shows in Canada with K&N

There is a way to promote the tuner scene and educate enthusiasts at the same time on the dangers of illegal street racing. Team Toyo Street is on it with Project Exploit every time they enter car shows.

Project Exploit was created at the beginning of 2007 with teams from the drifting, racing and off-road divisions. Eight of Team Toyo Street’s award winning vehicles are one of kind toys and at the same time, are street approved for daily driving. Safety is stressed at every event.

“The Project Exploit has only one truck on the team right now,” said D’mitri Moisseev of Project Exploit in Canada. “I saw my 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ for the first time in June of 2004 and I fell in love with it. At the time I didn’t have my driver’s license, but my buddy agreed to drive me to the dealership which was over 2400 miles away. I rushed to get my drivers license with the Ministry of Transportation and failed. I couldn’t let the dream go away so I took the test a second time. I was so nervous because I wanted the Trailblazer so bad it was as if my life depended on it. You can only imagine the smile on my face when I found out that I finally passed the test and got behind the wheel of my baby the very next day.”

Moisseev decided to modify the Chevrolet after a fender bender. “My insurance broker didn’t except my claim and I had to fix it myself,” he said. “I started changing things one by one and eventually got hooked.”

The Trailblazer went though changes and modifications. “I wanted to create a truck with modern versatility,” he said. “I also wanted an urban style with a mean look and improved performance.”

Moisseev only choose the best parts available for his truck. “I went with K&N Engineering products because I did not want to be outperformed by some other guy out there,” he said. “This was our first year as a team, and we were respected.” Installed K&N products are air filter RC-5145, K&N air filter wrap RF-1012DY and K&N oil filter HP-2006.
