The BMW 335i redefines the sport sedan segment. Updated with a new engine, the 335i is capable of going from zero to 60mph in 5.3 seconds. BMW markets the car as having serious muscle.
Air Filter Installed in BMW 535i, 335i and 335xi
K&N Engineering has designed a washable reusable panel air filter (33-2367) for the 2007 to 2014 BMW 335i/335iS models with a 3.0 liter engine and the 2009 to 2016 BMW Z4 with a 3.0L L6 engine. It has an extended seal to make sure no dirt gets between the lid and the base of the airbox housing. K&N designed it around the stock housing as part of the filter construction for the O/E airbox. See the full list of 33-2367 applications below.
K&N Air Filters are designed to increase horsepower while providing excellent engine protection. They will not void factory warranties. Handmade in the United States, K&N Air Filters are made using on the finest materials. They are effective due to the type of cotton we use, the weave of the individual cotton strands, the process by which it is woven, the chemistry of the oil, the oil's viscosity and absorbency along with the structural aspects of the aluminum wire.
Each K&N Air Filter is custom designed to fit in the factory air box and requires no modifications. Backed by our original Million Mile Limited Warranty it will be the last air filter your vehicle will ever need.
The Alfa Romeo is an aerodynamic designed sports car considered to be extremely
quick with arguably one of the greatest engines every built. The 156 are
considered the flagship models.
K&N's 69-0502TWR
K&N Engineering has released a High-Flow Air Intake System
(69-0502TWR) in wrinkle red for the 1997 through 2006 Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 liter
engine. See applications list below. Red is a very popular color on the Alfa
Romeo in Europe.
K&N Engineers have made sure the design on this air intake system provides
maximum power to meet consumer demands, by positioning the
K&N Air Filter (RU-4860) far away from the engine. The large conical K&N Air
Filter is designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. K&N's air intake design has lower restriction than the
factory air box system resulting in additional power while providing excellent air filtration.
The 69-0502TWR is a two piece kit that can convert to a short ram which places
the K&N Air Filter under the hood during inclement weather. When it is set up in
the complete cold air intake mode the air filter is protected from road water
with the use of a dry charger (included).
The free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube is engineered to the specific
vehicle design. The
69-0502TWR is designed to improve engine performance and is
easy to install, usually in about 90 minutes or less. K&N High-Flow Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Warranty.
It was at least 117 degrees at the motorcycle tech inspection stand at the
Bonneville Salt Flats near Wendover, Utah during Speed Week. The Bonneville
Speedway is the venue for numerous land speed records that are typically set
each year.
Jason McVicar of Team FL
Jason McVicar set 7 records at Bonneville Speed Week
Team Falkner Livingston arrived when the salt was still largely covered
with water. “The heat was a good thing,” said Becca Livingston of Team Falkner
Livingston. “Each hot day the water evaporated more and more, leaving behind two
good courses. It was a great event actually, with lots of records set and only
two crashes. One with injuries and one without, but luckily all were
recoverable.”
Rookie Kelly Boltz of Team FL set record on Rocket III
Rookie Dusty Schaller of Team FL set record on Honda CBR 600RR
Team Falkner Livingston did well and set several new land speed records. “Like
all our FL race bikes, our motorcycles at the Salts were equipped with K&N Oil
and Air Filters,” said Livingston. “Our CBR 600RR Honda with IHI Turbo running
650cc, Modified Partial Streamliner, Blown Fuel set a new record of 170.032 mph
with FL Rider Dusty Schaller. Dusty was a rookie to the Salt this year.” Kelly
Boltz, also a rookie for FL, set a new record of 152.013 mph in the 3000 cc
Production/ Production class on a Rocket III.
Paul Thede of FL had a new personal best speed of 198.7 mph on a Kawasaki ZX-14.
Thede set a new record of 196.604 mph in the 1650cc Production/ Production
class.
Bonneville Speedway is marked out at the start of every summer by the Utah State
Highway Department. Two tracks are prepared, a 10 mile long straightway for
speed trails and an oval for distance runs. There is also a 4 mile long
straightway for qualifying.
“The most exciting record was set by FL rider Jason McVicar of Vancouver,
British Columbia,” said Livingston. “Jason is a very experienced rider who set
seven new records at this year’s Speed Week. Four of those records were in the
2000cc class, and three were in the 1650cc class. Jason had a top speed run of
250.133 mph which established the first SCTA record over 250 mph on an open
wheel motorcycle. We set records with K&N Air and Oil Filters.

“Racing in Detroit is a really neat deal for us,” said Johnny O’Connell. “The
people know about Corvette Racing’s accomplishments in the American Le Mans
Series and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but this is our first opportunity to show
the incredible technology of the race cars.”
Corvette Racing took second place in their class at the 75th running of the 24 Hours of Le
Mans. Ron Fellows, Johnny O’Connell and Jan Magnussen drove their No. 63
Compuware Corvette C6.R in the GT1 class. They were also sixth overall in the
world’s most famous sports car race.
Corvette Racing runs a special K&N Engineering Air Filter. “Dirt is a huge
problem in street races,” said Crew Chief Dan Binks. “K&N protects our engines
from the debris.”
The Detroit Sports Car Challenge will start at 3:15 p.m. EST on Saturday,
September 1. The nearly three hour race will be televised live on SPEED Channel

The Ford Focus was refined in 2007 for environmentally responsible emissions.
Ford is trying to meet the needs of consumers as the price of gas continues to
fluctuate and the desire for fuel efficient vehicles continues to grow.
Air Intake for 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ford Focus PZEV
Air Intake prototype installed in Ford Focus PZEV
K&N Engineering has released a High-Flow Intake System (69-3513TTK) in
textured black for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ford Focus PZEV 2.0 liter engine. K&N dynamometer test
show a 5.24 horsepower gain at 5400 rpm.

The heat shield is engineered to isolate the oversized K&N High-Flow Air Filter
(RU-4950)
from engine bay heat. K&N Air Intake systems are designed to increase
filtering capacity and improve throttle response while providing excellent
filtration. As air passes the K&N Air Filter, it travels through the textured
black aluminum tube which is attached to the throttle body. The placement of the
K&N Air Intake System ensures a steady amount of cooler outside air to the engine which translates into more power.
The 2007 Focus PZEV is a partial zero
emissions vehicle. The K&N Air Intake System keeps all factory vacuum operated
emissions controls operational. K&N's engineers designed this Air Intake System to stay
within the factory emissions parameters while producing the maximum amount of
horsepower.
It takes about 90 minutes of less to
install this K&N Air Intake
System. It is backed
by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
