For the few who require a pickup truck larger than the Chevrolet Silverado or
the GMC Sierra, GM offers a pickup version of its seriously large GMC TopKick
and Chevrolet Kodiak chassis. Typically the Kodiak and the TopKick are used as
dump trucks, moving vans, school or shuttle buses, but these over-the-top pickup
bodies are designed for everyday use and to keep up with traffic. They also put
you eye to eye with most big rigs.
Air Intake for GM Topkick and Chevy Kodiak CK4500 and 5500
K&N Engineering has designed a High Flow Air Intake System (77-3063KTK) in
textured black for the 2004 and 2005 GM TopKick 4500/5500 Duramax Diesels.
See applications list below.
Power Gain Chart for Chevy Topkick with K&N Air Intake
K&N dynamometer test show a 14.92 horsepower gain @ 2612 RPM. Model years
2004-2005 of the 4500/5500 Duramax received a 29.99 ft-lb increase @2612rpm. K&N Engineers replaced the TopKick's original
intake assembly with an all-new High Flow Air Intake design. The new system gets
air from the O/E fresh air inlet through an oversized conical shaped K&N
High-Flow Air Filter (RC -5165) that never needs to be replaced.
A powder coated steel heat shield mounts in place of the stock air box. It
protects the chrome top K&N Air Filter and isolates it from engine heat. As air
passes the filter, it travels though the black textured powder coated aluminum
tube and a 90-degree silicone hose that is attached to the throttle body.
The 77-3063KTK retains the use of the O/E Mass Airflow Sensor and attaches to
the CNC-machined MAF sensor mount welded to the intake tube. It takes about 90 minutes
to install this K&N Air Intake which is backed by the famous
K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
Australian riders dominated the podium in the chase for the 2007 Speedway World
Champion Grand Prix Series at Malilla, Sweden last weekend. Leigh Adams took
first place and Defending World Speedway Champ Jason Crump took third place on
the podium.

For Crump, the result was satisfying considering he is still
recovering from surgery to his left knee less than two weeks ago. “My knee stood
up to the racing well,” said Crump. “The doctors did a great job getting me back
in the saddle so quickly, but there is still room for improvement with my
fitness and my riding.”
The 32-year-old World Champion went from sixth to fifth position in points
standings at Prague and has now moved up to fourth place overall. “I am picking
up positions one by one,” said Crump. “There are still four more rounds to go in
the championship so I am focusing on picking up as many points as possible right
now until the last Grand Prix. Only then will we now who will be the World
Speedway Champion in 2007.”
Crump also suffered a severe ankle injury during a race at Longio, Italy.
“Blocking out the pain is a difficult thing to do and something that takes
practice. Once I am at a meet my mind is focused on the job at hand and when I’m
on the bike my adrenalin takes over from the pain.”
Crump uses K&N Engineering products. “The K&N Filters keep the dirt out of the
engine,” he said. “In good or bad weather K&N is the best for dirt track
racing.”
Round 8 of the Grand Prix series takes place at Daugavpils, Latvia on Saturday
August 25.

The 2006-2008 Jetta was redesigned from the ground up. With the addition of a fuel-efficient Golf turbo, Volkswagen gave its popular line up a new boost. Consumers interested in the European inspired Audi A3 will find exterior proportions that resemble the Sportback.
K&N Engineering has released a High Flow Air Intake System (69-9503TFK) in black for the Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 liter engine, the Volkswagen Golf GTI 2.0 liter turbo engine and the Audi A3 2.0 liter engine. See below for a full list of 69-9503TFK applications.
K&N dynamometer tests show an 18.62 horsepower gain @ 4500 RPM. The factory fresh air duct attaches to the K&N Air Intake heat shield to ensure a steady supply of outside air to the oversized K&N High Flow Air Filter (RU-4960).
Many vehicles get air from the fender well, but the stock air box is on top of the engine on the Jetta, Golf and A3 which results in the need of ducting for outside air. K&N Engineers relocated the filter to the corner of the engine bay to enable the use of a large conical K&N Air Filter which is designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. Its placement takes advantage of the factory fresh air duct to feed the K&N Air Filter outside air. K&N's air intake design has lower restriction than the factory air box system resulting a power gain you are sure to notice right away.
The free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube is engineered to the specific vehicle design. The 69-9503TFK is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. K&N High-Flow Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Warranty.
The 69-9503TFK will fit the following applications:

The Sky Roadster was inspired by the English Vauxhall and put Saturn in the international design category. It has a wide stance, short overhangs and 18-inch wheels which are pushed to the corners. Another popular roadster is the Pontiac Solstice which sports an extra tailpipe out back and a small spoiler on the rear deck.

K&N Engineering has released a High Flow Air Intake System (69-8432TS) in powder coated silver for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Saturn Sky 2.4 liter engine and the 2006 to 2019 Pontiac Solstice 2.4 liter engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show a 5.41 horsepower gain @ 4700 RPM. The heat shield is designed to go between the oversized K&N High-Flow Conical Air Filter (RU-4990) and the front of the radiator. This isolates the filter from engine bay heat and keeps the air around it cooled.
The extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N O/E replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The oversized air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a clearing (up to 100.000 miles) is required.
The K&N Air Filter is also protected by a Drycharger which provides added protection by repelling water from entering the intake track. The 69-8432TS is made from a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube.
It takes about an 90 minutes to install this K&N High-Flow Air Intake system with simple hand tools. The 69-8432TS is designed to improve engine performance and add under the hood visual appeal. K&N High-Flow Air Intake Systems come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
The Volkswagen Passat is a utilitarian workhorse with a great ergonomic layout in the passenger cabin. The Passat shares its basic architecture with the Audi A3 which also has a roomy interior.
K&N Engineering has released a washable, reusable, panel air filter (33-2384) for certain 2007 to 2017 Volkswagen Passat models, 2013-2017 Audi Q3 Models, 2010 to 2016 Volkswagen CC models, 2003 to 2010 Audi A3 models, 2008 to 2015 Skoda Superb models, and 2006 to 2014 Audi TT/TTS/TT RS models. K&N replacement air filters are backed by our original Million Mile Limited Warranty and will be the last air filter your vehicle will ever need. See the full list of 33-2384 applications below.
K&N Air Filters are effective due to the type of cotton we use, the weave of the individual cotton strands, the process by which it is woven, the chemistry of the oil, the oil's viscosity and absorbency along with the structural aspects of the aluminum wire.
K&N invented the concept of washable, reusable filters more than 35 years ago. There is a great deal of engineering behind every K&N Filter. Each filter is custom designed to fit in the factory air box and requires no modifications. K&N Air Filters are designed to increase horsepower while providing excellent engine protection. They will not void factory warranties.
