The Ford Explorer uses a body on frame construction with a typical truck chassis
for maximum design flexibility. Isolating the frame from the body helps achieve
a quiet ride. A stiff frame allows engineers to control body motion for a mix of
driver comfort and precision. The result is steering precision and directional
stability.
Air Intake for Ford Explorer
2007 Ford Explorer
K&N Engineering has developed great looking High-Flow Air Intake System (77-2573KP)
with a polished finish for the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Ford Explorer V8 4.6 liter engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 10.0 @ 4700 RPM.

To gain more horsepower simply replace the Explorer's original intake assembly
with an all-new K&N Performance Air Intake System. The new system draws air through a
K&N High-Flow Air Filter (RF-1048)
which increases airflow and filtering capacity. The chrome top cone-shaped K&N
Air Filter is washable and never needs to be replaced.
A powder coated steel heat shield replaces the stock air box and protects the
K&N Air Filter while isolating it from engine heat.
The
77-2573KP uses the OE Mass Airflow Sensor, and although the MAF is
re-positioned to assist in more horsepower, no computer programming is required.
It can be installed
in 90 minutes or less and is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty
Air Filter for Kawasaki KAF620 and KAF950 Mule 3010
The Kawasaki family of sport-utility all-terrain vehicles combines power with comfort to answer the needs of adventure enthusiasts, sportsman and ranchers. It is available in a variety of low to mid range rpm and high rpm ranges.
K&N Engineering has developed a new replacement air filter (KA-6201) for certain 2000 to 2013 Kawasaki KAF950 Mule models and 2001 to 2016 Kawasaki KAF620 Mule models. See various models listed below. It is engineered to fit into the Kawasaki factory airbox using the provided K&N Sealing Grease to the air filter sealing surface. The sealing grease provides extra protection under harsh conditions. This helps keep dirt and debris from bypassing the sealing surface while protecting your engine.
K&N invented the pleated cotton filter back in 1969 for the power sports market. Our air filters are washable and reusable. All K&N ATV Air Filters are covered by our K&N Racing and Off-Road Limited Warranty.
Chris Steele took his second win of the season in the Fastrak Weekly Racing
Series at the Harris Speedway in Harris, North Carolina.
Mandie, Chris and Jeremy Steele
Steele started on the outside pole of the heat and led every lap to take
the heat. In the feature, Steele took the lead at the green flag and opened up
nearly a full straightaway advantage by the halfway point.

A late caution flag brought a lot of cars together and narrowed Steele’s lead.
He was able to fend off the challengers as he headed down the back straightaway.
Over the remaining five laps Big John Pursley threw all he had at Steele. When
the checkered flag fell Steele was able to drive his GRT with K&N Engineering
products to victory.
“We had a really good car,” said Steele. “I need to thank Big John for racing me
so clean. He could have wrecked me anytime be he didn’t and I appreciate that. I
also need to thank all our fans and sponsors. We wouldn’t be here without their
support. Our K&N Engineering products worked awesome, as always I really
couldn’t picture racing without them.”

Sportsman Racer Dan Fletcher is known for his driving in Stock and Super Stock.
He is ranked at 13 in NHRA national events overall and is number one in the
world in stock. This year Fletcher has placed first in national and divisional
Stock events. He is on his way to 50 NHRA National event titles in 2007, a feat
only 12 other drivers have accomplished.

The biggest surprise this year is his two NHRA Super Gas wins. The
Corvette he drives belongs to a friend. “I like to think I can drive anything,”
said Fletcher. “Every time I go to a race track I plan to win. Racing is what I
do for a living and it’s my job to win.”

At Englishtown, New Jersey he was knocked out early in Super Stock, but
was a surprising force in Super Gas. “I also won at Atlanta with Super Gas,”
said Fletcher. “It all adds up to my goal of 50 championships for 2007.”
Fletcher is on his way to the second half of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing
Series. It kicks off in the Rocky Mountains at Bandimere Speedway July 13-15.
From there the Western Swing continues at Seattle, Washington and Sonoma,
California.
Fletcher will race at more than 5,800 feet this weekend, where the altitude
affects everything from engine tune-ups to aerodynamics. The Mopar Mile-High
NHRA Nationals near Denver, Colorado brings out the skill and adaptability of the
racers.
“I spend weeks on the road from February through November,” said the
Churchville, New York resident. “This year is very exciting for me because my
oldest son Thomas will be driving my Stock car at Seattle. We are going through
the Western Swing as a family and it will be fun.”
Fletcher uses K&N Oil Filters on his vehicles. “Thanks to K&N my engines have
outlasted and outperformed,” he said. “After 400 runs my engines stay clean. I
also think the nut on the K&N Oil Filters is ingenious. It is so
simple to change.”
