K&N Engineering manufactures universal air filters for a wide variety of
applications. Regardless of the angle, offset diameter of the air intake, there
is a K&N Universal Air Filter for your equipment.
K&N's RC-5166 Universal Air Filter
The new RC-5166 is constructed like all K&N Universal Air Filters, with
ultra-strong pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for
secure attachment. Universal air filter flanges can stretched for up to 1/16 inch (1.5mm) to fit
in-between sizes. The black powder coated filter top has a threaded stud for secure mounting.
The flange length is 1.375 inches (35 mm) which allows plenty of room to clamp
around many engine intakes. K&N Universal Air Filters are ideal for extended use
in dirty and dusty conditions. Washable are reusable, the
RC-5166, like all
other K&N Filters is a work horse. It is designed to provide high air flow and
increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent engine
protection.
There is a great deal of engineering behind every K&N Filter. More than 35 years
of research and development has made K&N the leader in air filtration
technology.
The Avenger is a mid-sized car made by Dodge, which looks like a smaller
Charger. The Avenger is also the mechanical twin of the Chrysler Sebring sedan.
They share underpinnings and powertrains.
Air Filter Dodge Grand Caravan, Avenger, Chrysler Sebring and Town & Country
K&N Engineering has designed a lifetime replacement air filter (33-2373) for the
Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring. See complete list below. Handmade in the USA
using only the finest materials, K&N Replacement Air Filters are washable and
reusable. It's almost impossible to wash your K&N Air Filter too much. Inside
our testing laboratory, we have washed and re-oiled one K&N Air Filter more than
100 times and it still performs up to specifications. Depending on your driving
conditions, we recommend cleaning your air filter every 50,000 miles.
K&N Air Filters were created for an environment requiring maximum horsepower,
excellent filtration and enhanced acceleration. We take filtration seriously at
K&N. The result is an air filter that allows more air into an engine and will
protect your engine for the life of your vehicle.
Simply remove the disposable air filter and drop in the K&N Air Filter. K&N
warrants its street vehicle OE Replacement Air Filters for one million miles.

Defending King of California Jonathan Allard
On Saturday, Allard raced the K&N Filters No. 0 in the Golden State Challenge
Series at Tulare. He started the evening by setting the second quickest lap in
qualifying. Allard closed in on Brent Kaeding as the laps continued. He was on
Kaeding’s bumper in the final lap, but ran out of time and settled for a third
place finish.
During the 30 lap feature, Allard made a good jump on the first start and was
immediately up to second place. He went back and forth between third and second
over the next 15 laps. In the end he brought home a runner up finish.
“We use K&N Engineering Oil and Air Filters along with K&N’s Carbon Fiber Air
Box,” said Allard. “K&N makes the best products.”
Allard will be back in action with the Golden State Series at Antioch this week.

Funny Car driver Jeff Arend will be racing his blue Checker, Schuck's Kragen car
with K&N products this weekend at the NHRA POWERade tour at Thunder Valley in
Bristol, Tennessee.
Jeff Arend ready for NHRA POWERade Tour with K&N
It will be the third stop on a six-week campaign which will be followed by
Denver, Seattle and Sonoma. For Arend, the marathon started with great promise,
but he said the best is yet to come.

“We had an outstanding race in Englishtown, and could very easily have won that
event,” he said. “We lost by inches in the semi, to Tommy Johnson, and he went
on to win it all. In Norwalk, the key accomplishment was getting qualified
again. We are now the team with the longest current qualifying streak, at a
massive 12 in a row. There is probably no better example of how consistent we’ve
been all season than the streak. Our best days are just ahead of us.”
Team Worsham manager Bob Wilber said the key part to the accomplishment is the
11- for 11 streak. “Arend and his team have been on in 2007,” said Wilber. “He
stands alone as the only Funny Car driver to have participated in all 11 races
to this point, and he is bound and determined to keep that streak alive.”
Jeff Arend and his blue CSK Team use K&N Engineering Oil Filters (HP-5001) every
time they race. “The thick canister walls on the K&N Filters have extra strength
and durability,” said Wilber. “It reduces the risk of damage from debris on the
race track. We wouldn’t dream of entering a race without K&N Filters.”

On Sunday July 8th Ron Fellows will drive a Cadillac CTS-V in the sixth round of
the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT on the streets of Toronto, Ontario.
Ron Fellows in pursuit of SPEED GT Championship
He is one of North America’s most versatile race car drivers. On June
16-17 Fellows piloted a Corvette C6R with K&N Engineering Products to a
runner-up finish in
the GT1 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Cadillac CTS-V is equipped with a
K&N Oil Filter (HP-1007).
Team Cadillac to race in Toronto Street Race
Team Cadillac will start the second half of the 10-race series from a position
of strength. It is leading the manufacturer’s championship by two points over
Chevrolet, nine points over Porsche and 17 over Dodge.
“At least I’ll get to sleep in my own bed for the Toronto race,” said Fellows.
“I’ve got a 20-minute drive to the Toronto track from my home in Mississauga.
It’s always good fun to race the Cadillac CTS-V and racing at home just makes it
better.” The Toronto circuit is new to the SPEED GT series, but its familiar
territory for Fellows. He won there in the GM Player’s Challenge and drove
Trans-Am machines on the temporary course at Exhibition Place.
“The track layout has changed a little, but it’s essentially the same circuit
that I’ve raced on in the past,” said Fellows. “It’s a very traditional street
circuit with a good mix of corners and some tricky combinations of turns. Like
most street races, there’s not a lot of grip, but there are at least three good
places to pass, under braking going into Turn 1 and Turn 3, and accelerating up
the hill into Turn 5 if the car is putting the power down well. It’s a little
tricky, but I’ve done it.”
SPEED GT is scheduled to start at 5:25 EDT on Sunday, July 8. The race will be
televised on Saturday, July 14 at noon EDT on the SPEED Channel.
