The Grandeur was developed by Hyundai to move into the executive segment. It
bears a resemblance to the 2005 Sonata and with a distinctive European design.
It is a car which can compete at the highest levels in terms of on-road
precision, safety and comfort.
Air Filter for 2005 Hyundai Grandeur
K&N Engineering's lifetime replacement air filter,
33-2933 is designed to fit in
the factory airbox of the 2005 Hyundai Grandeur 2.7 liter V6 engine. Adding
performance is easy with the drop-in design, simply remove the disposable air
filter and replace it with K&N's air filter. Each filter is custom designed to
fit in the factory air box and requires no modifications.
Unlike disposable filters, K&N Air Filters use a unique pleated design
consisting of an oiled cotton fabric between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum
screen. The filters capture airborne dirt particles and allow high volume air
flow. These particles then cling to the outside of the filter and become part of
the filtering media.
K&N Engineering is the inventor and world leader of the high-flow cotton air
filter. If every vehicle used washable and reusable K&N air filters, there would
be far less debris in landfills. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends
the use of disposable air filters.
K&N's stock air filters for street vehicles are covered by our famous K&N
Million Mile Limited Warranty and will be the last air filter your vehicle will
ever need.
Round Five of the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup pushed
19-year-old Andrew Caddell up to third place in the chase for series points. The
Graham, Washington native had two podium finishes and his first professional pole
position at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio.

At lap 10 there was a three-way battle for the win between Caddell, Jason Saini
and Ara Malkhassian. The three racers went back and forth a few times, and no
one seemed to have a distinct advantage around the track.
Caddell was passed and began to fall back, but returned to the fight as the
battle between Saini and Malkhassian heated up. Caddell did his best, but
crossed the finish line in third place.
Caddell has been racing for ten years. He started with karts and has always used
K&N Engineering products. “I don’t remember racing without K&N,” said Caddell.
“K&N Air and Oil Filters give me a competitive edge.”
The next event is in Canada on August 18 at Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.

Jason Meyers continues to add victories to his resume in the World of Outlaws
2007 Season. In May, Meyers and the Elite Racing team visited victory lane at
U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn. Missouri. Meyers recently netted another Outlaw win
at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.

Jason Meyers Wins Another World of Outlaws Event
In the Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City, Meyers qualified ninth
during the time trial event. He crossed the finish line first in this heat and
ran second to the Crane Cams Dash. He lined up on the outside of the first row
for the A-Main, next to the 2006 Champion and current point leader, Donny
Schatz.
Both racers are sponsored by K&N Engineering, and both use K&N products on their
sprint cars. “K&N protects engines and keeps the dirt out,” said Marie Osborn
for Elite Racing. “K&N also gives us more power and that gives us a winning
edge.”
Meyers was able to hold on to the lead until the thirteenth circuit, when Schatz
motored around him. Not losing ground to Schatz, Meyers held on. Schatz bobbled
on the high side of the track on lap sixteen and Meyers used the slower traffic
to pass Schatz. Meyers held on for the close victory.
“The race was tough,” said Meyers. “We battled Donny all night long. I always
love coming to Dodge City, and it’s great to have good news.”
Next up for Meyers and the Elite Racing Team will be The Duel of the Dakotas on
Friday, June 29 at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota.

Defending World of Outlaws champion Donny Schatz made a last lap pass to claim a
victory at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, South Dakota. He moved his No.15
Snap-on Tools sponsored J&J with K&N products past race leader Kerry Madsen
heading into the final corners of the race.

The victory was his eighth “A” Feature win of the 2007 season and second
consecutive at Black Hills. “Winning races is the key to having a successful
season, but putting on a good show is what keeps fans coming back,” said Schatz.
“The track crew did an excellent job of getting the track into racing condition
after some unfortunate accidents early in the night. They never gave up nor did
the fans. It was a long night, but hopefully we gave them something to remember
and we’ll see them again next year.”
At the start of the evening, cars hit the 3/8-mile dirt oval to qualify under
sunny conditions. During the first two heats numerous rocks on the track were
cutting tires and doing damage to the race cars. The track surface was reworked.
Schatz ParkerStore Team Win at Black Hills
Donny Schatz Motorsports has a winning combination of parts and
components. The team uses K&N Engineering Products. “With the K&N Sprint Car
Airbox we’re confident we’re getting maximum airflow to produce the highest
performance,” said Schatz. “The debris stays out of our motor with K&N.”
Schatz started the evening by qualifying ninth in a field of 36 cars. The Fargo,
North Dakota racer made a strong move at the start jumping from fourth into
second and spent lap after lap following Madsen.
“I had to conserve my right rear tire,” said Schatz. “We got to traffic and I
was hoping Kerry would make a mistake, but he didn’t. Then I saw the white flag
and figured it was now or never and we made it work.”
Schatz returns to action on Friday night when the World of Outlaws makes its
first appearance at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
