The Saturn L Series was based on the European Opel Vectra, but modified for the
U.S. market. The Catera was also produced from an Opel design and was intended
as a different kind of Cadillac. It was made without a V8 engine.
Oil Filter for some Saab, Cadillac, Opel, Vauxhall and Saturn
K&N Engineering has designed a cartridge oil filter (PS-7001)
for the Saturn and Cadillac Catera. Designed to trap harmful contaminants, K&N
Cartridge Oil Filters provide high oil flow rates and excellent filtration.
A replacement gasket is included to ensure a positive seal on the cartridge
housing to the engine block. K&N's
PS-7001
slips into the OE housing for an easy fit.
K&N Cartridge Oil Filters are covered by our limited warranty to be free from
defects in material and workmanship when installed and replaced using engine and
equipment manufacturer's recommended service intervals.
Round one of the AMA National Championship occurred in St. Louis over the
weekend. There was a new competitor in the series, the Factory Aprilia Rip It
Energy Fuel Racing Team.
Ben Carlson wins AMA Supermoto Unlimited class at St. Louis

and won the AMA Supermoto Unlimited class. This was the first American victory
for the V-twin racer.

Carlson qualified on the pole with team owner Darryl Atkins one row behind
on the grid. After 12 laps, Carlson held off the competition using the SXV 550’s
horsepower. “The long front straight and sweeping first corner suited the
Aprilla,” said Atkins. “But it was not a cake walk. The level of competition has
steadily increased over the years in the large displacement class. Carlson,
however, proved his talent on the front straight by stretching his lead. By mid
race he started to gap the field and won by over ten seconds.”
“I am so fired up that we took a win in our first round,” said West Bend,
Wisconsin native Carlson. “The team gave me a great bike and we made very few
changes to the set-up over the weekend. Darryl’s development work last year is
paying off now, and it’s a huge bonus that he is a teammate.”
Atkins finished in fifth place. “We had ideal machines for this track,” he said.
“The chassis really worked for us and we finally had a course where the bikes
could really run.”
Team Factory Aprilla uses K&N products on its bikes. “We use K&N Air and Oil
Filters,” said Atkins. “We tested with K&N prior to the event and our bikes ran
better. It feels like we gained 2 plus horsepower on the track.”
The next round of the AMA Supermoto Championship will be at Englishtown, New
Jersey on June 3rd.

easy to use and maintain. We never have to worry about K&N products on or off
the track.”
On Saturday and Sunday Allard will also be in action at Calistoga Speedway for
two consecutive nights of Golden State Challenge Series action. Last season he
brought home a fourth place finish at the half-mile dirt oval. Allard said he

resistant and almost impossible to tear. Simply remove the stock sleeve and
replace it with the K&N nylon sleeve to connect the K&N air filter to the
throttle body.
Air Intake for Renault Clio III
The K&N oversized universal chrome top round tapered air filter is
positioned away from the engine to prevent hot air from entering the Intake
System. Adaptors connect the cold air inlet to the K&N air filter and the sleeve
for a custom fit. Also included are zip ties to mount the cold air inlet tube
and stainless steel clamps that connect the system.
K&N has also developed a Cold Air Induction System (57A-6032)
for the 2006, 2007 and 2008 models. It is designed with the Apollo, a specially
designed K&N Air Filter and enclosure.
The K&N Apollo bolts onto the Renault's sleeve which mounts directly onto the
throttle body. There are stainless steel clamps to mount the sleeve onto the
Apollo. Zip ties are included and mount onto the cold air intake tube for a
secure fit.
All K&N Cold Air Intake Systems contain multi-lingual installation
instructions.
One of the world's best selling sports cars is the Mazda MX-5 Miata, with over
800,000 cars sold. There are three generations of this small roadster. The third

A plastic tube is included to replace the vent hoses of the stock intake system.
K&N's International Intake Kits are easy to assemble with simple had tools.
Simply remove the stock air box, install the molded plastic tube with the K&N
universal chrome top air filter and connect the mounting brackets to keep the
K&N air filter in place.
Zip ties are also included for the cold air inlet tube to ensure a secure fit.
