K&N Engineering will continue to sponsor the No. 6 Ford F-150 and Roush Fenway
Racing driver Travis Kvapil for an additional three races. Kvapil will drive the
K&N Filters Ford at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend. Additional races
include Martinsville Speedway on March 31 and Kansas Speedway on April 28.
Travis Kvapil
“K&N is shifting priorities around to make things happen for Roush Fenway Racing
and Travis Kvapil,” said Charles Maier, Sports Marketing Director of K&N
Engineering. “We see this opportunity to continue our sponsorship for another
three races as a fantastic thing for K&N and Roush Fenway. They need a great
sponsor and we want to build a great relationship with a top team in the world
of NASCAR.”
K&N sponsored the No. 6 at
Daytona International
Speedway in February. Kvapil led most of the laps on route to a third place
finish on February 16. The following week K&N also sponsored Kvapil at California Speedway.
“We’re really happy that K&N has come on board with us for the next three
races,” Kvapil said. “We nearly won Daytona, and we’d like to think we can make
it up to them by pulling off a win in one of the next three races. Atlanta is a
really fun racetrack. Next to Daytona, it’s one of the most fun racetracks we go
to. You can run anywhere, up to the wall or down around the bottom of the track.
It really makes for an exciting race.”
Kvapil currently is seventh in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points, 65 points
behind leader Jack Sprague.

Aprilia's new V-Twin motorcycles, the RXV (Enduro) and the SXV (Supermoto) have
entered the off-road market with a bang. The 450 and 550 share a chassis, wheels
and brakes. Both are considered powerful enough for racing.
Air Filter for Aprilia RXV 450, 550 and SXV 450 and 550
K&N Engineering has developed a replacement Air Filter (AL-4506)
for the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Aprilia 450 and 550.
The K&N Replacement Air Filter is custom designed to fit into the air box lid.
"There is a baffle in the OE air box," said K&N Powersports Application
Coordinator Lisa Watson. "The filter comes with special installation instructions to ensure a proper seal is made with the baffle in place."
The grooves on the outside perimeter of this K&N Air Filter allow
clearance for the stock screws. This makes tightening the lid to the
air box base easy.
K&N Air Filters are washable and reusable and are ideal for extended use in dirty off-road conditions. AL-4506 offers your motorcycle the air it needs for optimum horsepower.

The Yamaha Rhino is a premier ATV in the Side-by-Side class that may be one of
the greatest pit vehicles to ever roll off an assembly line. K&N Engineering's
involvement with the new Side-by-Side class is second to none (news story). For maximum
performance it is important to keep the drive train running smoothly on these
vehicles.
K&N Side-by-Side Yahmaha Rhino
"Adding airflow, filtration and dirt retention to the clutch on one
of the most popular Side-by-Sides on the market is as important as adding
gasoline before you head out on the trail," said K&N Powersports Division Brand
Manager John Jump. "Our CVT Clutch Breather Filter Kit (RK-3920)
for the Yamaha Rhino offers the clutch increased air flow to keep it cool." Note that these products are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a highway. See knfilters.com for CARB status on each part for a specific vehicle.
Clutch Air Filter for Yamaha Rhino
The oversized media allows for increased dirt capacity so that you do not have
to clean it as often. At the same time, this K&N Filter Kit keeps the
internals free from debris.
The RK-3920
is a complete kit which includes a K&N High-Flow Filter (RB-0900)
with a 5 degree angled flange to set the filter at the right angle. It also
includes a K&N Pre-Charger which allows for even longer service intervals while
maintaining high levels of airflow.
"Whether you are building your Yamaha Rhino for the upcoming racing season or
just trying to keep it in top shape," said Jump. "K&N Engineering's new CVT
Clutch Filter Kit gets the job done."
